What’s the biggest problem with buying a new videogame?  The risk of something going wrong with your disc right?  If the CD that you’re playing the game off of even just has the slightest scratch it can ruin your console’s ability to read the game.

That is going to mean that you have to buy a new one if you want to play the game that you already bought.  Games are really expensive these days so that’s just not realistic.

But enter my Game Copy Wizard review.  This is a cool new product that claims to have the ability to allow you to digitally back up any game that you own.

But how well does this work?  That’s the question anybody wants answered, because it seems pretty far fetched that this would actually get the job done for you right?

So what do you get out of this product, what do you want to know from my Game Copy Wizard review? Well probably what this can do, and here’s what you’ll find:

  • The software can actually break your games down so that you can actually save the games.
  • You will be able to burn games onto blank CDs as well as DVDs.
  • Burn your own movies, so that you can actually store your files onto your computer as well, beyond your games.

What my Game Copy Wizard review found, is that this is definitely what you’re looking for when it comes to saving these files.  But it’s still not as easy as you might think.

There is a bit of work in getting this to work, and you do have to fully understand the potential of the software.  There’s a bit of work on your part, and that means putting the effort into your use of the program.

The Problem With Store Bought Games

Okay, so you bought some great new games from the store right? You can’t wait to get them home so that you can finally play right?  But then what happens just a few times into playing them?  Well usually they get an accidental scratch, and then the disc won’t work at all, leaving you totally out of luck if you’re trying to play them again. But how can you make sure that’s not a problem? How can you protect yourself from having to buy the same really expensive game twice because of some stupid mistake?

Well first think about everything bad that can happen to a game throughout their life.  No matter how well you take care of discs they are always prone to trouble.  Whether it’s dropping, misplacing or even hardware failure that can damage your disc when used inside a game console.  You’ll also discover that there’s the world of borrowing to friends that you just can’t trust, and when that happens you usually end up never really getting your game back at all.

That’s why usually you want to make sure that you  have some way of saving them.  There are so many programs out there that are going to be able to help too, and that are dedicated just to allowing you to back up your games.

Just think of all the problems that this will alleviate.  No more worrying about trying to get a refund.  If you’ve ever bought from a national retail chain or especially worked there you know how important barcodes, scanning and inventory is.  That means it will take forever for you to get a new copy of the game, and that’s a pretty huge problem in the long haul.

But that’s not the only problem that you’re going to face.  It’s really expensive if you can’t get a replacement by returning a damaged disc.  If you have to buy your own.  The problem that then comes in is that it’s just too expensive.  These days new console games are more expensive than ever.  $60 is the pricepoint if you’re buying for 360 or ps3, and that’s not something that you want to have to deal with.  Buying a game twice means you’re well over $100 invested, and that’s not something that you should have to do just to be able to play a game once.
